So, everyone. It's safe to say that Nate Notes will probably be finished from here on out.
There are a lot of reasons why, but the largest and most important one is that
I'M GROWING UP.
As I turn to face adulthood, I'm trying to make sense of myself and my vision my creativity and what exactly I want to do and how I can manage myself without going crazy. As you can imagine, this takes energy and time and I don't have room in my life for a lot of things anymore. Nate Notes is one of those things. These days, Nate Notes doesn't interest or excite me as much as it used to, and I think it's had it's run. I've done it for almost two years - that is longer than I've sustained any project before. That alone means something.
Imagine if I never stopped doing Nate Notes, EVER. I'd rather you read something that was done out of spirit and enthusiasm rather than tedious obligation. And wouldn't you get worried? I'm even more thankful for the fact that I can move forward from Nate Notes than for Nate Notes itself.
So, I suppose I'm saying thank you for your support these past two years, thanks for hearing what Nate Notes had to say, and liking it a whole lot. You guys have shown me a lot of interest and a lot of support and that means so so much to me. AND THIS IS NOT TO SAY that Nate Notes has just disintegrated into air, or that the Nate who made Nate notes is dead. I'm still alive and kicking, moving along as usual, but towards different areas and different ventures, bigger and better and more exciting than Nate Notes is for me now. What's more, the spirit of Nate Notes lives still - On this blog, yes, but mainly in everything I'm ever going to do from here on out.
And I'm very pleased you've given it your blessing.
